Body Weight Training
The oldest training method in the book, body weight training is making a comeback. Get a full body workout using nothing but your body weight. Do your Squats, push-ups and crunches anywhere to get a full body workout.
Yoga
Once known as a relaxing, stress relieving form of exercise, yoga is a no-joke workout. Focusing on core strengthening and flexibility, the wide variety of types of yoga will have you working up a sweat. I’m sure you’ve heard the expression “strong is the new skinny.” This year expect to see more and more people at the gym walking past the treadmill and headed for the weights. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
High intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the most effective ways to burn a high amount of calories in a short amount of time. This fat burning workout consists of a 2:1 ratio of low intensity activity (or rest) immediately followed by short bursts of high intensity activity. This kind of workout can be done in 30 minutes or less and trust me you’ll be sweating!
